CORONA VIRUS NOTICE
WE WILL STAY OPEN THIS YEAR UNLESS DIRECTED TO CLOSE.

In response to ARVC & CDC recommendations we are instituting the following precautions and procedures to protect ourselves and you as much as possible.

The following will apply this year for as long as this COVID-19 emergency is with us. I will keep you posted here at the park and on Facebook. sturgeonvalleycampground.com

Heightened Cleaning Schedule for our restrooms, Laundry and Cabins. A cleaning schedule will be posted at the restrooms, laundry and office. While we are cleaning the door will be locked for your safety and ours.

We ask that you practice Social Distancing within your site and within your family group.

Bring as many supplies as you think you will need during your stay. The store will be closed. Ice and wood will still be available.

The Playground will be closed to guests. We cannot clean out there and keep children safe.

There will not be tube rentals this year. Your own tubes of course can be used. No transportation will be provided for tubing or spotting Kayaks.

Reduced office Hours. I will be using the Small building outside of the traditional Office/Store space. This will reduce the possibility of transmission between you and me.

Check-in is encouraged to be done by phone with a credit card payment. I can let you know at that time of the space assigned or the one you reserved if there is any doubt. Not a hard rule, I will still take you at the “window” of the office.

Please don’t congregate at the swimming pond. Practice the Social Distancing there too.
